Building cybersecurity startups is hard! It’s super technical, has a unique route to market through a channel of Resellers, MSPs, GSIs, requires a level of trust that takes time to build while being at a startup means time is one of the many things you don’t have!
But there are some tips, tricks, and best practices specific to building GTM(Sales, Marketing, Channel, and Customer Success) for cybersecurity startups that i’ve learned over the years and I want to share them with you!
Too often the traditional SaaS “best practices” are consumer focused and don’t factor in the level of trust needed to scale a cybersecurity company!
I’m sure some of the advice will apply to other startups or even service businesses but my experiences and stories will be tailored to cyber!
